Within the scope of prevention, defense and valorization of the florest patrimony of the municipality, the Sabugal City Hall celebrated, in the past March 8th, cooperation protocols with seven associations, of which are part eight teams of forest poachers.

In a total of 243.000 euros, the autarchy signed the respective protocols with the Associação Humanitária dos Bombeiros Voluntários do Sabugal (81.000 euros), Associação Humanitária dos Bombeiros Voluntários do Soito (81.000 euros), Acrisabugal – Associação de Criadores de Ruminantes e Produtores Florestais do Concelho do Sabugal (27.000 euros), Coopcôa – Cooperativa Agrícola do Concelho do Sabugal (13.500 euros), Comissão de Compartes da Freguesia de Aldeia Velha (13.500 euros), Conselho Diretivo do Baldio dos Fóios (13.500 euros) and the Assembleia de Compartes da Freguesia de Malcata (13.500 euros).
