'RECYCLART' EXHIBITION
➜ From July 16th to September 01th
The Sabugal Museum hosts the exhibition of paper pulp sculptures by Meg.
“Maria Eugénia Gomes, or ‘Meg’, as she likes to be called, was born in Covilhã in 1957. She left school in Coimbra to work with children in a school in Lisbon and sees in paper educational potential. Among the diverse geographical paths, she seeks a form of innovation through recycling. Trials and experiments continue to this day, making paper the link between the many materials that shape and give the name to her form of art.”
The ‘Recyclart’ exhibition will be on display until September 01th, Monday to Sunday, from 10 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm. Admission is free and open to all.
