HOUSE OF THE JEWISH MEMORY OF THE SABUGAL´S BORDERLAND – INAUGURATION ON MARCH 12

This new museological space that we now inaugurate intends to portray the jewish presence in Sabugal’s Council, being part of the Routes of Sefarad Project – Valorisation of the Portuguese Jewish Identity in the Intercultural Dialogue, co-financed by EEAGRANTS and the Municipality of Sabugal, validated by the Culture regional Direction for the Centre and the Association Jewries Network of Portugal.

The City Council of Sabugal wants this space to be another welcome place, a touristic attraction and a leisure spot for the locals, thus preserving the memory of the place.
