The Soito Cross-Border Business Hub (CBH), O Centro de Negócios Transfronteiriço do Soito (CNT), headquartered in the old “Cristalina” juice factory, in Soito, is an infrastructure where entrepeneurs can benefit of business spaces and special conditions and incentives for the implementation of their activities. Of the stimulus given relative to rent of the CBH work spaces, so that employment capacity may be potentiated, growth and local development, are also the right to six months free rent for every work position created and also a ratio of rent decrease in the first four years of activity.
The CBH is composed by 23 autonomous fractions, two of them specificaly oriented to hold a restaurant and a clinic. The remaining fractions are destined to the instalation by lease of a supermarket, bank, industry, warehouses, commerce and services. The CBH also has a 236m2 common area to serve as reception, coordination, permanent exhibits space (where articulated dummies made by the Soito born, José Fernandes de Oliveira, also known as “ti Zé Ferreiro”, during the last 15 years), exhibit/sale of regional products (olive oil, honey, sweets, books and other publications having Sabugal as theme). Internet space and entrepeneur support office. Presently the CBH has 17 leased spaces in activity.
The intention is to bring together in the CBH, businesses, services, culture and leisure, that may bring life to the building, not just work life, but also socialization, learning and social participation. The promotion of this infrastructure, as of all the companies integrated in it, is made through the planning and developing of activities and programs to guide and propell the atractivity of the space and interest on the services available, while meeting the needs of the users.
