3rd SYMPOSIUM AND SOCIAL FAIR IN EXPOSABUGAL

Organized by the Municipality of Sabugal mission unit ‘Sabugal + Social’, in association with several entities, the multi-purpose pavilion ExpoSabugal has hosted the 3^rd Symposium and Social Fair.

For three days, from May 17^th to May 19^th, topics related to the promotion of active and healthy ageing were addressed. It also counted with the participation of speakers from different areas who shared ideas and knowledge, a strategy to train institutions, technicians and the general population.

During the Social Fair, in addition to the show of social products and services, there were several activities aimed at different audiences, from workshops, performance and animation moments, dance demonstrations, theatre presentations, health screenings, and other activities.

We would like to emphasize once again that the ‘Sabugal + Social’ mission unit, aims to create a set of innovative social response solutions to problems in the Sabugal community, with a proven positive impact on existing solutions. Locally, it acts as an engine for the improvement of responses concerning social problems, capable of promoting practices that enable success in education and improve the quality of life of the elderly by promoting active ageing, both at the level of public policies and the dynamics of social economy. The aim is that the Municipality of Sabugal may be the capital of active and healthy ageing in Portugal.
